    Cannot add a link to a pdf file inside Rich Text Editor

    Extending Umbraco and using the API
    Umbraco 7

    Hi Umbraco

    I am trying to add a link to a file in the Rich Text Editor. And for some reasons i cannot do this. I am using umbraco 7.6.1. I don't understand why this is not possible. Can somebody help me?

    Is the “insert file” button not appearing on the editor?

    The problem is that when I click the select button, nothing happens. You can see the editor image below.

    I will try to reformulate everything that i said above.

    1. I select some text.
    2. I click the link icon from the Rich Text Editor. A window opens from the right side of the screen.
    3. I click the Link to file button, and afterwards I select the specific pdf file, in this case the file's name is update.pdf.
    4. Till this moment everything works, now I click the green button from the bottom right corner and nothing happens. The window from the right doesn't close and the link is not added to the selected text.

    Can somebody help me with this problem? Is this an update problem or an umbraco bug?

    I just found the solution for this problem. I just removed this line of code from tinyMceConfig. Now I can finally add a link to a pdf file. 

    <plugin loadOnFrontend="true">umbracolink</plugin>
