Modelsbuilder API and lots of nuget updates

Extending Umbraco and using the API

Umbraco 7

Hi There. I was installing the Modelsbuilder API and UmbracoModelsBuilderTool. After the install 21 updates emerged on Nuget. It's like

Lucene from 2.9 to 3.0, Newton from 6 to 10 and so on..

What to do? is it possible to just update all?

Hi Elitenet,

I would not recommend to update them all. You can get in to a lot of issues because the updates can contain breaking changes and thus break the Umbraco core.

Just update the packages that you need is my advice.

Hi Dave, ok thanks, I will leave it alone in my project..

I tried to run to upgrades anyway in sandbox, but got errors, so it seems to be going nowhere. Strange behavior from VS.

Error       Unable to resolve dependencies. 'AutoMapper 6.0.2' is not compatible with 'UmbracoCms.Core 7.5.13
Error       Unable to resolve dependencies. 'HtmlAgilityPack 1.4.9.5' is not compatible with 'UmbracoCms.Core 7.5.13
Error       Unable to resolve dependencies. 'ImageProcessor 2.5.3' is not compatible with 'ImageProcessor.Web 4.8.3
Error       Unable to resolve dependencies. 'Lucene.Net 3.0.3' is not compatible with 'UmbracoCms.Core 7.5.13
