I would like to upgrade to the latest version of Umbraco AND recreate the site WITHOUT uBlogsy - there are too many unresolved bugs. The site has a lot of content. Any ideas of how to port that content over to a new version of Umbraco?
Thank you - but I think this isn't quite what I need. If I build a new site with custom blogging functions, and then want to migrate the content into the new site, I think it must be altered because I want to remove the uBlogsy package. When I look in the database the content nodes are full of "uBlogsyPost" and "uTagsy" and "uDateFoldersy" data.
Is it possible that my custom solution can target that content without actually having to alter the actual data?
