    Implementing

    Hi,

I'm new to Umbraco and want to use your template to create a dummy site. How do I get this implemented in Umbraco and allow me to edit/modify the template? Might seam a basic question but like I said im new at this :)

    Hi John,

    Welcome to our.umbraco

    1) You need to install this package, you can do so from the Developer Section Packages-->Install local package

    2) This will install all the tempaltes, css, etc. You can now edit them from the Settings Section.

    Regards,

    Chris

Have you had a look in the wiki for general help with Umbraco?

    e.g. http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/how-tos/getting-started-with-umbraco-what-is-next-after-you-install

    Hi John,

    To install this package

    1) Go to the Developer section (bottom left)
    2) Expand the 'Packages' section
    3) Click 'Instal' local package
    4) 'Browse' to the downloaded file and follow the instructions on screen.

It looks like you need help with the general setup of Umbraco and not the configuration of this package. You'd get a better response from the forums http://our.umbraco.org/forum/getting-started/installing-umbraco or http://our.umbraco.org/forum/using/ui-questions

    Regards,

    Chris

Thanks for your help so far :)

It is not compatible with my version of Umbraco yet so will have to hope it is compatible soon.

What version are you using 4.6?

I've not tested it with 4.6, but can't see why it wouldn't work.

Remember to mark the solution to this thread once you're ready to do so.

Hi, I have tried this, I went on packages > umbraco package repository and it is on there to download which saved me downloading the file then re-uploading it then it outputs the following message: "No connection to repository. Runway could not be installed as there was no connection to: 'http://packages.umbraco.org' "

mmmm that sounds like an issue with the package repository. Try downloading it manually

Standard Website is only available for Umbraco 4.x

It looks like you've installed Umbraco 5.

    Cheers

    Chris
