The Pixlr package makes it possible to edit your Media images with
Pixlr, an online image editor. You can choose between two editors:
- Pixlr Editor is a full image editor that comes with a ton of advanced image editing features.
- Pixlr Express provides basic editing options through a simple interface.
After installing
After
you have installed the package a Pixlr Datatype will be available. To
use Pixlr add the new Datatype to an image Mediatype.
Before unintalling
Remember to remove the Pixlr Datatype from any Mediatypes before uninstalling.
Troubleshooting
Verify that you have the Pixlr crossdomain.xml file in the root of your website. You can get the file from package file.
Translation
There are three umbraco ui keys in this project:
- pixlrLink (the text for the link to Pixlr, default: 'Edit image').
- pixlrSaveAsNew (the text after the save-as-new checkbox, default: 'Save as new?').
- pixlrNewMediaName (the text in front of the new name textbox, default: 'New media name: ').
To translate these texts, edit the xml language file(s) found in <root>\umbraco\config\lang\.
