    Internal server error from GetInitAppTreeData

    Using DAMP 1.0 on Umb 4.7, I'm having an issue with the treeview. It loads fine on my localhost, but on the remote host I now get a 500 error. This is strange; it only just started happening.

    The post data is:

    {'app':'content','showContextMenu':'false', 'isDialog':'true', 'dialogMode':'id', 'treeType':'FilteredContentTree', 'functionToCall':'', 'nodeKey':'1091'}

    The response is:

    {"Message":"There was an error processing the request.","StackTrace":"","ExceptionType":""}

    I recently added a data type (using the DAMP editor, configured for full XML and single selection) which I then packaged and installed on the remote umbraco instance.

    I noticed that when I then went to look at the imported datatype in the developer section, the prevalues weren't as I had exported them.

    Now, however, I can't view the tree for either Choose or Create, regardless of the data type in use. For example, a document with a DAMP - new datatype on it refuses to display the tree.

    Any ideas? Is the codeplex version stable enough to upgrade to?

    Sorry I have no idea what might cause this error. I used DAMP 1.0 on several 4.7.0 installations and everything worked fine. The latest change set on codeplex is pretty stable and I also use it on some internal projects, but there are still some workitems.

    I've released a BETA of DAMP 2.0 which you can install. It doesn't add any datatypes so you need to created those yourself.
