Is is possible to have predefined values when creating new products. Right now you have to manually add each option and values and was wondering if the values could be predefined, e.g. for a node holding the values. I guess you use the content tree and point to a merchello product but that would require creating double products which I would like to avoid. Is there a provider availabed for this?
At the moment shared options have not been exposed through the UI albeit the concept is in the database. We have not had the resources to do build this out as of yet as there have been other priorities.
I know there are a couple of people looking at this and TBH I'm anxious to get them going.
Realistically I'm guessing we're looking at 1.6 or 1.7 (late fall, early winter) unless someone picks it up and starts running with it.
Thanks for the reply now I have something to go with. It's for a webshop we're currently building so I quess the best option is to use the merchello product editor datatype if I want to get it as close as I can to a single entry point for editors.
