Version 7.10.4 when saving an existing user profile, the Email field is flagged as required despite it already being initially populated. Re-entering a value clears the fault.
Would it be able for you to make a step by step instruction for me, on what you have done. Then I will see if I can reproduce the issue on a 7.10.4 as well and let you know how it goes.

There's not much more information than that already provided. All you need to do to replicate the problem is go to edit an existing user and click save. You don't even have to change any of the attributes. I just quickly build a clean 7.10.4 system and the problem occurs as described in the original post.
So, step by step
1. Create a new user and save the profile.
2. Select the user as if to edit the profile.
3. Click save.
