    Is it possible to deploy content & media items from Umbraco version 6.1 to 7.2 through Courier ?

    I'm planning to do a Umbraco version upgrade from 6.1 to 7.2. There are lot of content pages and media items so thinking to use Courier to transfer those resources.

    Does Courier support transferring files in between different Umbraco versions ?

    @Madura 

    This just popped up when I was looking for a different thread - but to answer you directly - no.  Courier is designed as a deployment tool rather than a migration tool, so it expects the source and destination to be identical umbraco versions.  That, combined with the many differences in DB schema and property editors amkes the two versions incompatible.
