    Contour and 300+ forms

    HI

We are in the process of migration a client from their old questionnaires system to contour. In this process they want to import their old forms and data to contour aswell.

    Key numbers:
About 300 forms with an average of 16 questions. Approximatly 6000 forms submitted.

    Questions:
    1. Amount of data. Does anyone have any experience with this amount of data, should I expect scaling issues?

2.With about 300 forms the tree navigation could be an issue. Is there away of archiving a form in such a way that its hidden from the contour admin? Tried setting "Archived" to TRUE on the UFForms record in the db, but that did not seem to hide it from contour admin.

    /Christian

    Hey Christian,

    1) I don't think there will be any issues with that amount of entries (the record viewer and record exported should still perform pretty good)

    2) That's true 300 forms means a lot of items in the forms tree. The Archived setting doesn't do anything at the moment, it was placed there for a future update.

You could of course hide forms from your end users with the forms security

Hey Tim. Thanks for your replies. Will take a look at forms security. That might work
