We're using Umbraco 4.7.1 and Contour 1.1.7 and have just now moved the upload folder (/umbraco/plugins/umbracoContour/files) for Contour outside our Umbraco web application (DriveLetter:\Data\Contour_uploadfiles) and mapped a virtual directory (in the place the original folder used to be) to that directory.
Everything is still working OK except for whenever we upload files, the files are stored twice. Both files are in the guid folder of the form but in different guid (control) folders, like this:

I've seen this, it actually happens if you leave the directory in the default spot also. Not sure why...
