    Copying doc type properties from one to many?

    Templates and document types

    Hi,

    Is there a fast way to do this? I've got a few properties defined in one of my Doc Types, I now want to copy them over to my other templates but doing them manually will take an age

    Just wonderingif there was a fast track method to do this?

    Hi Simon,

    Am I right in thinking that you have a DocType with a number of properties, and you wish to add these properties to other DocTypes ?

    Do you use docType inheritance at all ? (check out the Doc Type Extensions package to help with refactoring)

    Thanks - Yes that is correct - there were some doc types previously created before the master was setup. I'll check out your link but found a cool script for doing this so if anyone else is wondering:

    I've used the doctype extensions and found them to be great at moving older doctypes under new masters...
