There are a series of Feature Requests that I can probably add onto that would make Umbraco so much better on the backend.
1. Drag and Drop Move directly in the Tree instead of just in the right click menu - Both Content and Media
2. Drag and Drop Sort directly in the Tree instead of just in the right click menu - Both Content and Media
3. Ability to change Doc Type Master directly in the Doctype much like the Templates vs making a doctype, getting it all done and then needing to delete the doctype and remaking it for it to have a master Doctype. A little check could check for duplicate properties and prompt to delete. This may just be wishful thinking.
4. Multi node or media selecting and with drag and drop to move or sort directly in the tree. (For instance: Selecting about 5 nodes at the same time and moving them to another "Folder" or parent within the tree.). Much like you are able to do in a Windows OS file structure.
Just a few requests for 4.8 or other soon to be released version.

I agree. And this request, a most basic one, has been made for years.
For all of the Umbraco content users in the world over time, the above feature s could conservatively have saved about 100,000 hours of time.
