    The Umbraco Guy

    Hi All,

I hope you had a wonderful end to 2014 with big plans for the new year.

Some of you already know me; for those who don't I wanted to introduce myself as someone who can bridge the gap between Umbraco Developer and Client.

I am a humble man from the Midlands (UK) working for a highly successful IT consultancy - Computer People.

I specialise purely in Umbraco Developers and I bring these highly-skilled workers to those who require an efficient solution to their development needs.

I am not limited to but have worked with:

Digital Agencies, Finance Companies, NHS Services, Council Projects and Start-ups.

I pride myself on working to your budget and upholding successful working relationships.

If you are a contractor seeking a new adventure or are an employer who needs an Umbraco Guru to parachute in and bring positive change to your projects then please contact me for a quick and confidential chat.

We can talk about anything Umbraco related or if you like hiking, 4x4s, music and friendly dogs then I'd love to hear from you.

    Hi All,

Hope 2015 is treating you well.

    January has been great!

I've managed to introduce 3 developers to 3 clients with great success.

It's a wonderful thing to work with the Umbraco community; long may it continue.

    Danny (The Umbraco Guy)

    Hi

I'd just like to add a quick note to say that Danny found me a new position working as an Umbraco developer. He was very helpful through the entire process. Danny didn't hassle me or chase me for anything, he was always quick to respond to emails and return calls and he was very professional in his attitude towards me and the client.

If you're looking for a job using Umbraco, I would recommend you contact Danny and make him aware of your skills.

    Thanks very much, John.

It was great working with you from start-to-finish.

You're a hugely-skilled developer and a brilliant guy who deserved a dream role - I'm glad to have been a part of it!

    All the best,

    Danny

    Appreciate that, Alan.

You had a requirement, you contacted me and within a couple of hours you were talking to one of my developers who was happy to assist.

Great bit of work between the both of us.

Speed of delivery is something that I pride myself on and it's great for my developers to be handed work that they can get cracking with straight away.

    Danny

    Morning all,

Last week was busy - placed two Umbraco developers and a Business Analyst!

Working with Umbraco gets better and better each week.

Currently seeking an Umbraco developer near Glasgow for a 1 month contract. In short, a website needs building based on Umbraco v.7...

    IMMEDIATE START

    Any takers?

    Danny

    Hi all,

Looking to make contact with Umbraco developers in Scotland within a commutable distance to either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

As the above references show, I place both contract and permanent developers regularly.

Looking forward to a quick chat with you, Danny

    Hi all,

I'm having a big push on multiple Umbraco roles based in Glasgow for my client, an international digital agency that uses Umbraco and Sitecore.

I need an automation Test Engineer with Umbraco experience if possible

Multiple development roles: Front end and Back end. The client will provide CMS certification in Umbraco or Sitecore.

Feel free to pass the word on for anyone looking to work for an incredible, forward-thinking company in Glasgow.

    Thanks, Danny [email protected]

    Hi all,

Still having a big push for permanent C# developers in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lancaster, South Wales, The Midlands, Chester, Bristol, London...pretty much anywhere in the UK!

If you have little or no experience in Umbraco and want to use this CMS going forward, I'm happy to discuss your backend experience and we often take great C# developers and put them through Umbraco training.

    Thanks, Danny [email protected]

Can I add that other Recruitment companies are available in the UK and while I am sure Computer People are a great company it is best to pop your CV on a Job website so it can be seen by many recruitment agents.

The UK Umbraco market is very buoyant.

Market rates for an Umbraco developer with commercial experience are between £350 and £400 a day. If you are new to contracting don't except less than this as the difference will go in the Recruiters pocket.

You need any unbiased information on making the move to becoming an Umbraco contractor, let me know, I have loads of experience.
