    Media Section on new Dev environment

    Installing umbraco

    Hi,

    We have an old version of umbraco running under v4.7.0 and decided to upgrade it to v6.2.2. 

    What we did we install a new instance of umbraco on the dev environment but not sure how to deploy the media section even if the media folder is physical present with all images and files.

    Have i missed something in sql there ?

    Hi :)

    Sorry i dont understand the question? You have upgraded from 4.7.0 to 6.2.2 and you want to know how to move the media folder from the dev environment to the staging environment?

    Hi Fuji,

    If I've understood you correctly, you have copied across the media folder to your development environment and now want them to appear in the back office?

    If so, I don't think there is an easy way to do this unless you copy across the database along with the media folder. The only solution I can think of would be to use Courier to migrate media files from your source installation to your target installation.
