I don't think there is going to be one tool that works for absolutely every video and video type out there. Are you wanting to input the video into the richtext editor (as there are quite a few options with the insert/edit embedded media option) or a media picker where you pick the video from the media library where you uploaded it previously? To make it work for the different versions you are probably going to need different object and embed code depending on the format/type of the video. I have installed both oEmbed and insert video project and see how they work.
Oembed fine for you tube videos, but insert video not worked for me.
Simply, if I have video clip may be windows media clip or flash video or mpeg bla bla....
how i create my own code to isert the video from media folders please?
I have tried <object > but the problem is all these vedio types not compatible for all browsers...
