    SQL timeout expanding content tree

We have a live site that has random SQL timeout errors when using the content tree, version 6.2.2.

When looking in the error logs we can see the below stacktrace, which doesn't give the most information but what I can see is a line in there about the MiniProfiler ProfiledDbCommand. Could this be a red herring as there's no way this should be running any profiling on a live site. I've checked and the web.config has

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The wait operation timed out

I don't have a solution for you, yet, but I had a very similar error message recently, and I can send you links to other forum posts. My guess is that your problem will have a different solution than both of these because your error pops up when you try to expand the content tree. These other posts have other triggers.

I posted the issue about the Miniprofiler error after save, preview, or publish. The solution didn't have anything to do with the Miniprofiler, and I'm betting that your scenario is similar in that regard.

    Hope these help
