A virtual Umbraco hackathon with a view to writing a bunch of BDD style scenarios for unit testing the Umbraco v5 UI.

There is no previous knoweledge of Umbraco v5 or BDD required to join in, the only thing you need to know is how to use the Umbraco UI (and as the v5 UI is meant to be feature comparable to v4, we should all know that =).

This will be a great way for anybody to help out on v5, regardless of your skill level. So please do join us.

How to join

So throughout the day I'm going to leave a JabbR based chat room open so we can all chit chat as a group. The URL for the chat is:

To join you'll need to create a nickname by typing:

/nick your_nickname your_password

nickname and password can be anything you like.

You can join a room by either clicking on it on the right hand side, or typing:

/join room_name

I've created a "general" room for us all to meet up in and we can create other rooms as we see fit.

I'll also create a goto meeting so that we can all meetup first thing and discuss and plan the day. I'll post the goto meeting details on this event page and on in the chat app as soon as they are setup.
